What are your office hours?

Comprehensive Laser & Aesthetics has the following office hours:

  • Monday 9am-5pm
  • Tuesday 9am-5pm
  • Weds 9am-7pm
  • Thursday 9am-7pm
  • Friday 9am-6pm
  • Saturday 8am-2pm
  • Sunday CLOSED

We offer convenient scheduling options and almost all patients can be seen within the same week they call.

Please note that our office will be closed in observance of the following holidays:

New Year’s Day, Good Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.

Do you offer walk-in visits?

In order to provide the highest quality of patient care we reserve time for our medical staff to meet with you. We currently do not offer walk-in visits and patients are seen by appointment only.

How do I schedule an appointment?

For your convenience, we offer the following methods to schedule your appointments:

  • Online scheduling: To request appointment availability, please click here to fill out the form. Our scheduling coordinator will contact you to confirm your appointment.
  • Call our office at 410.595.2727
  • Email us at info@comprehensivelaser.com with your preferred date or day of the week and time range, and our scheduling coordinator will contact you to confirm your appointment.
  • For current patients, a non-refundable reservation fee will be collected to book your appointment, and can be applied to the cost of treatment during your visits. Reservation fees are non-refundable, and non-transferrable.
  • For new patients, a non-refundable consultation fee will be collected to book your appointment time. Consultation fees are used to cover the time you meet with one of our licensed medical specialists.

What do I need to bring to my first appointment?

  • List of current medications and medical conditions.

What if I need to reschedule?

Please call our office 24 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. Appointments rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice will lead to forfeiture of your consultation or reservation fee.

What is your cancellation policy?

At Comprehensive Laser, we are dedicated to delivering the highest quality and most efficient services to our patients. When appointments are scheduled, we reserve that time and professional medical staff to provide one-on-one consultations and treatments. If an appointment is missed or canceled with less than 24 hours advance notice, this prevents other patients from being treated.

For appointments that are missed, canceled without 24 hours-notice or no-shows:

  • A $50 fee will be charged for appointments scheduled for 30 minutes or less
  • A $100 fee will be charged for appointments scheduled for 30 minutes to 1 hour
  • A $150 fee will be charged for appointments scheduled for 1 hour to 1.5 hours
  • A $200 fee will be charged for appointments scheduled for 1.5 hours to 2 hours.

What happens during my first visit?

We will conduct a thorough examination during your first visit to determine the best course of action to achieve cosmetic health and your goals.

You will meet with a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who will review your medical history and discuss your treatment options. Once cleared as a candidate, you may be treated immediately afterward.

Insurance & Billing

Do you accept insurance?

Since we do not participate with any health insurance plans, payments are due in full prior to starting all treatments and services.

What payment options do you offer?

Comprehensive Laser & Aesthetics offers these payment options:

  • Cash or debit is preferred
  • Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover and all major credit cards
  • Visit our Financing Page for Cherry and PatientFi financing options
  • We also accept Health Savings Accounts
  • We do not accept personal checks or cashier's checks
  • We DO NOT accept flexible spending accounts

Do you require payment at the time of the visit?

We will require payment in full, at the time of service. Due to the high demand for our services and treatments by our certified medical professionals – consultation fees must be paid at the time your appointment is booked.

Do you offer complimentary consultations?

Consultations are performed by licensed Physicians, Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. Since these services are not covered by insurance, a consultation fee is collected prior to being evaluated. We reserve this time specifically for you to be evaluated and treated. A consultation fee of $50 will be collected at the time your consultation is booked. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable for any reason. The fee will be applied to any treatment package you choose to proceed with. Due to the high demand for our services and treatments by our certified medical professionals – consultation fees must be paid at the time your appointment is booked.

As cited in Chapter 10.32.09, Code of Maryland Regulations, all patients need to be evaluated by a Physician/PA/NP prior to being cleared for any laser-based treatment. The use of a laser/ IPL device for hair removal, tattoo removal etc. is considered a surgical act in the State of Maryland and medical providers are required to perform consultations for medical clearance before beginning treatments.

What is your refund policy?

What We're Doing About COVID-19

At Comprehensive Laser & Aesthetics, your health, safety and happiness are our top priorities. We have been monitoring the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very carefully. Our Columbia and Olney offices are open, and we will continue to follow updates from local, state and federal authorities.

We have taken a series of precautionary steps to ensure your safety:

  1. We are performing enhanced cleaning and sanitizing of all patient care areas on a regular basis and in between all patient visits.
  2. We will avoid having patients congregate in our reception area. Upon check-in, you will be shown to either a private exam room or consultation room depending upon the nature of your appointment.
  3. All members of our staff are screened daily for COVID symptoms and are asked to stay home if they exhibit any signs or symptoms of the disease.
  4. ALL of our providers wear surgical face masks, plastic face shields and the necessary personal protective equipment to ensure patient and provider safety.
  5. We use hospital-grade disinfectants (Cavi-Wipes, Cavicide) to clean patient rooms and equipment. CaviCide is a convenient, ready-to-use, intermediate-level surface disinfectant that is effective against TB, HBV, HCV, viruses (hydrophilic and lipophilic), bacteria (including MRSA and VRE) and fungi. It can be used in the NICU, operating rooms, isolation rooms, patient care areas and laboratories. When used as directed, it will also effectively clean and decontaminate critical and semi-critical instrumentation.
  6. All of our equipment and protective eyewear are cleaned after every use.
  7. Plexiglass shields will be in place at the check-in and check out areas to prevent aerosol transmission.

For the time being, we ask that you come to your appointments alone to limit the traffic through the office. We also ask that you leave children in the care of a family member or a sitter. If you have had a recent fever, sore throat, cold- or flu-like symptoms or contact with someone suspected of having COVID-19 please call immediately to reschedule your appointment.
