Why is laser stretch mark removal among the top choices for skin rejuvenation?

Millions of men and women suffer from unsightly stretch marks and scars. Now you don’t need to live with them anymore. Weight fluctuations, pregnancy, and puberty can cause your skin to stretch too far and too fast. The unfortunate results are undesirable lines and scars. Using the Vivace Radiofrequency Microneedling system, we are able to treat and remove stretch marks, as well as surgical and acne scars.

How does stretch mark removal work to achieve luminous skin renewal?

Using Fractional radiofrequency technology, we are able to target and break down the tissues in stretch marks and scars. This stimulates new collagen production and leads to improved texture and color of stretch marks.

What should I expect?

Most treatments vary from 15 to 30 minutes and there is virtually no downtime! There may be some minimal discomfort and 3-5 treatments are recommended to improve the texture of the skin and decrease the appearance of the treated stretch marks.

"Was greeted by Sarah at the front desk! She was so sweet and made me feel so welcome. Short wait to go into the back. I was very nervous about the whole process, but The PA was gentle, and made sure I felt ok the whole time! He answered all my questions and made me feel so comfortable and welcome the whole time. They are patient with your needs, and definitely somewhere you want to come visit!"

What are the benefits?

A Comprehensive, Personalized Approach

*Noticeable results – Treatment with the Vivace RF Microneedling system yields remarkable improvements in the appearance of your skin. The boost in collagen and elastin goes a long way in making stretch marks virtually undetectable.

*Minimal downtime – Most clients find they can return to their normal schedules directly after treatment. This is a major advantage for those with full schedules who still want to improve their appearance but can’t spend weeks or even days recuperating.

Who makes a good candidate for laser stretch mark removal?

Not all patients are candidates for treatment and not all stretch marks can be treated. All patients are required to be evaluated by our medical staff to determine if they are candidates for laser treatment.

During your consultation, a thorough medical history and focused physical examination of the treatment area will be performed. Call or email us today to schedule a consultation with one of our Physicians, Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners.

  • What will my recovery be like?

Some minor redness and swelling may occur after your stretch mark removal in Baltimore, however these symptoms will be nothing like those associated with surgery. You will be able to return to your normal activities after your session, or at least by the next day.

  • How much does laser stretch mark removal cost?

Our practitioners will meet with you for a confidential consultation and examine your skin, after which they can give you a more customized quote.

What We're Doing About COVID-19

At Comprehensive Laser, your health, safety and happiness are our top priorities. We have been monitoring the evolving Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation very carefully. We will be partially reopening the office beginning Monday, May 11th. We will continue to follow updates from local, state and federal authorities and if we receive different guidance we will respond appropriately and notify you immediately.

We have taken a series of precautionary steps to ensure your safety:

  1. We are performing enhanced cleaning and sanitizing of all patient care areas on a regular basis and in between all patient visits.
  2. We will avoid having patients congregate in our reception area. Upon check-in, you will be shown to either a private exam room or consultation room depending upon the nature of your appointment.
  3. All members of our staff are screened daily for COVID symptoms and are asked to stay home if they exhibit any signs or symptoms of the disease.
  4. We screen all patients entering our facility with COVID symptom screening questionnaires.
  5. ALL of our providers wear surgical face masks, plastic face shields and the necessary personal protective equipment to ensure patient and provider safety.
  6. We use hospital-grade disinfectants (Cavi-Wipes, Cavicide) to clean patient rooms and equipment. CaviCide is a convenient, ready-to-use, intermediate-level surface disinfectant that is effective against TB, HBV, HCV, viruses (hydrophilic and lipophilic), bacteria (including MRSA and VRE) and fungi. It can be used in the NICU, operating rooms, isolation rooms, patient care areas and laboratories. When used as directed, it will also effectively clean and decontaminate critical and semi-critical instrumentation.
  7. All of our equipment and protective eyewear are cleaned after every use.
  8. Plexiglass shields will be in place at the check-in and check out areas to prevent aerosol transmission.
  9. We offer "No touch" payment methods such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and online invoicing.

For the time being, we ask that you come to your appointments alone to limit the traffic through the office. We also ask that you leave children in the care of a family member or a sitter. If you have had a recent fever, sore throat, cold- or flu-like symptoms or contact with someone suspected of having COVID-19 please call immediately to reschedule your appointment.

As always we appreciate your support of and trust in our practice and we look forward to seeing you soon!
