Nina Nalini FNP-BC, MSN, BSN
Nina graduated with two Bachelor of Science Degrees from The University of Maryland College Park and Howard University. She then earned her Master of Science in Nursing Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Nina currently serves as President of the Dermatology Nurses' Association, is a national laser trainer, and a Key Opinion Leader for several leading laser device companies. She is also an active member of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, Dermatology Nurses’ Association, The Skin of Color Society, American Nurses Credentialing Center, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Deeply passionate about education, Nina is a strong advocate for patient safety in Cosmetic Dermatology, with a special focus on advancing care for patients with chronic skin diseases and skin of color. She is dedicated to raising the standard of care in aesthetic medicine through mentorship, clinical excellence, and empowering fellow providers through education.
Her greatest accomplishment remains being the proud mother of two beautiful daughters.

Neil Harry PA-C, CLTRS, LTRS, LSO
Neil has worked at Comprehensive Laser & Aesthetics since 2012 and is skilled in pain-less laser tattoo removal. He also has an extensive background in Critical Care Medicine, General, Plastic and Orthopedic Surgery.

Neil obtained a Bachelors of Science in Bioscience and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, from SUNY Farmingdale. After graduating from the St. Johns University Physician Assistant Program in 2011, he moved to Maryland and started working with Dr. Matusunaga. He currently performs consultations for aesthetic laser procedures and treats patients needing laser tattoo removal with the Quanta Q-Plus C laser system. He was trained and Certified as a Laser Tattoo Removal Specialist by the Godfather of Laser Tattoo removal – Mr. Victor Beyer from A Laser Academy in Denver, Colorado. Neil is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS) and is our Laser Safety Officer. He also mentors students applying for both Medical and Physician Assistant schools.
He is honored to be a provider within the Soul Survivor Ink network that helps survivors of human trafficking to remove tattoos of a painful past.

Maryann Thomas FNP-C
Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Neuro ICU and neurology roots, now specializing in aesthetic medicine with a focus on patients of color.

She began her nursing career in 2012 at The Medical Center, Navicent Health, a level I trauma center in central Georgia, where she worked in the Neuro ICU as a bedside nurse. In 2014, she became the unit’s nurse educator, contributing to Magnet re-designation and Stroke accreditation efforts—an experience that deepened her passion for education, mentorship, and continuously advancing as a provider.
In 2016, Maryann transitioned to Emory Healthcare’s Brain Health Center, where she provided outpatient neurology care while completing her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree at Walden University. After graduating in 2020, she moved to Maryland and began her journey in aesthetic medicine—a path inspired by her own experiences with vitiligo, acne, and dermatitis. She gained extensive experience working at a laser center and later a dermatology office before joining Comprehensive Laser & Aesthetics.
Maryann is especially passionate about treating people of color, enhancing her clients’ natural features, and helping them feel confident in their own skin. As a wife and mother of two, she values connection and strives to create a welcoming, supportive environment for every client she serves.

Samantha brings over seven years of diverse nursing experience to her role at Comprehensive Laser and Aesthetics, including a strong background in acute care and several years as a travel nurse across multiple specialties.

Samantha’s passion for aesthetics began with her own personal experience as a patient. She saw firsthand how these treatments could not only enhance your appearance but truly boost your confidence—and that realization inspired her to pursue a career helping others feel the same way. She is trained in a variety of treatments including laser hair removal, Aerolase® for skin rejuvenation, and PRX-T33 for non-invasive dermal biostimulation. Her approach is all about enhancing natural beauty while creating results that feel subtle, refreshed, and uniquely tailored to each patient’s goals.
Known for her gentle touch and calming presence, Samantha values the trust her patients place in her and believes in making every visit feel comfortable and collaborative. She’s also committed to ongoing education and is always seeking out new techniques and advancements in the aesthetic field to bring the best care possible to her patients.
Outside of work, you’ll find Samantha cooking up something new in the kitchen, working out at the gym, or spending time with her Goldendoodle, Ollie. Whether she’s in the treatment room or enjoying a walk with her dog, she brings the same authenticity, compassion, and positivity to everything she does.

Consultations
In accordance with Maryland state law, all aesthetic medicine consultations must be performed by a licensed medical provider (such as a Physician, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Practitioner) before any laser-based treatments can begin.
These are medical procedures, and the consultation is a critical step to ensure you are medically cleared and a candidate for treatment. Your provider will thoroughly review your medical history, assess your skin and concerns, and discuss treatment options that are both safe and effective for your unique needs.
Consultations are also an important opportunity for you to speak with the provider prior to receiving the procedures. We take this time to educate you about the procedures, answer your questions, and ensure you feel informed and confident in your treatment plan. Because this is a personalized medical evaluation with a licensed Medical Provider, a $50 consultation fee is required to reserve an appointment. Your consultation fee may be applied toward any service, with the exception of single-session tattoo removal. However, it can be applied toward tattoo removal packages
